ABOUT OUR CARRYALL & CARRYETTE CARTS
Q. What is the load capacity of your carts?
Q. How good are your wheels?
Q. Do your carts have a removable front panel for dumping?
Q. Are two rear legs and cross-brace better than a single rear stand?
Q. Can I store the cart outside? What about durability?
Q. How do your carts compare with the low-cost imports seen in discount stores?

Q. Are spare parts available?

Q. What is the load capacity of your carts?
A. The Carry-All is conservatively rated at 400 lbs. Our Carryette is also rated at 400 lbs. where other 32" wide carts are rated at 250 or 300 lbs. This is possible because the Carryette is identical to the Carryall except it is 10" narrower. Everything else is the same. Other 32" wide carts are downsized to 1/2" axle, 20" wheels, smaller box and much lighter-duty supporting framework. The result is that the Carryette maintains the full 400 lb. load rating with 35% more volume capacity than other 32" wide carts; but still rolls through 3' doorways, fence gates, or other restricted areas.
Q. How good are your wheels?
A. These are not bicycle wheels!
Specifically designed for heavy-duty usage, the wheels on the Carry-All and Carryette are actually load rated at 350 lbs. each! The wheels feature 3/16" diameter spokes, a 5" wide hub and two sets of ball bearings per wheel.
Q. Do your carts have a removable front panel for dumping?
A. Yes, as do others, but please compare critically as quality and ease-of-use varies widely between manufacturers. Our carts use 1-3/4" welded angle iron for the removable door support. This heavy- duty frame accomplishes two purposes: (1) The sidewalls of the cart will not bow out under full load, and (2) no cross-bracing is required that would hinder the load from being dumped.
Q. Are two rear legs and cross-brace better than a single rear stand?
A. Yes, two rear legs and cross-brace are much stronger than a single rear stand, especially when stress is applied to the base of the stand from front or rear.
Q. Can I store the cart outside? What about durability?
A. Yes. All steel used on our carts is zinc-plated or galvanized. Others use painted steel which can scratch and rust. Our fine wood panels are 5 ply 1/2" Fir with Marine Glue. Panels are Dip-Stained with Medium Brown Stain which is chemically-rich with 13% linseed-oil preservative for improved weatherability.
Q. How do your carts compare with the low-cost imports seen in discount stores?
A. Please compare quality: With the wheels (on the imports) note the absence of ball-bearings, the "loose" and narrow-diameter spokes and the lack of a tempered steel axle. Note also that the metal parts are painted, not plated. The imported "luan" plywood is interior grade and not nearly as tough as that used with the Carryall.
Q. Is the cart difficult to assemble?
A. No. Each cart is shipped partially assembled with protective edging and fasteners installed. The tires are inflated. Final assembly is all that is required, the only necessary tools being a screwdriver and adjustable wrench.
Q. Why do you ship by Fed Ex when most of the others use truck lines?
A. Lower-cost and prompter delivery.
Q. How soon after I order will my cart be shipped?
A. 95% of orders are shipped on the next business day.
Q. Are spare parts available?
A. Any component part is available for shipment within 24 hours.
